This story will largely focus on highlighting PC hardware and peripherals discounts, but if there are any appealing AU-exclusive games bargains, we'll include them too.

ASUS ROG Theta 7.1 gaming headset | AU$549 AU$437.90
The ROG Theta is an undeniably expensive piece of kit, but perhaps a ~AU$100 discount can tip you over the edge. The Theta boasts 7.1 surround sound, virtual subwoofers and "eight ASUS Essence drivers," as well as an AI noise-cancelling mic and USB-C connectivity.
Corsair HS50 Pro gaming headset | AU$85 AU$69 at Amazon
Here's a quality albeit no-frills stereo gaming headset for folk who don't want things coming at them from all directions like some hellish fever dream. This usually sits just above the budget range, but with this discount you can get it a bit cheaper, and it'll work on your consoles as well, if you've got 'em.

Razer Cynosa V2 Chroma gaming keyboard | AU$119.95 AU$69
While the RRP of AU$120 isn't what you should pay even on a normal day, this keyboard is cheaper on Amazon than elsewhere, where you'll normally spend around AU$70. It has dipped as low as AU$48 before, but this is still a good price if you want this board right now.
Razer BlackWidow Chroma | AU$119 (usually AU$219.95)
The price on this green switch mechanical keyboard generally hits between AU$170 and AU$200 in Australia, so this current Amazon deal is quite good, though it was a tad cheaper last week during the big mid-year sale. It has an advertised 80 million keystroke lifespan and all the colours you could possibly want, unless 16.8 million isn't enough for you. Via Amazon.
Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 | AU$229 (usually AU$269)
It may not be the more recent K70, which scored well in our review, but this older model still does the trick: red mechanical key switches, a very compact design, and more RGB colours than you could poke a stick at across several lives. Via Amazon.

If you're looking for a mouse mat that covers a heckuva lot of space, this Gigantus V2 comes in at 45x40cm, which is a lot of headroom for heated moments. Boasts textured micro-weave cloth surface and "high-desnity rubber foam with anti-slip base".
