The best Warzone loadouts and class setups

Want to find the best Warzone loadout? Warzone Season 4 is well and truly underway, and we have a whole load of great loadouts to beef up your arsenal, now including the newest guns from the battle pass: the MG 82 and C58

They've been added to a long list of the best Warzone guns, and now you're really spoilt for choice. With the nerfs to the CR-56 AMAX not being quite enough to completely destroy it, you can now stick with what you know or go with something a little bit different. If you're looking for viable setups that are optimised and ready to go for Season 4, look no further. Here are ten of the best Warzone loadouts, including attachments, perks, and throwables.

Best Warzone loadout list: The best setups for Season 4

The best Warzone loadouts are:

MG 82 & LC10

MG 82

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 16.4” Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 125 Rnd

Season 4 did not mess around in getting us some brand spanking new weapons with a whole lot of power behind them. The MG 82 offers a ridiculous amount of stopping power along with a fast fire rate so it’s nice and forgiving at longer ranges. The Task Force barrel is great for minimising horizontal shakiness, and it boosts your bullet velocity to make sure your shots are just where you aim them. Check out our best MG 82 loadouts page for more.

LC 10

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 13.9” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Stock: SAS Combat Stock
  • Ammunition: Salvo 52 Rnd Fast Mag

I absolutely adore the LC10. It’s got the perfect combination of mobility and power, and the way it’s setup here means you can shred at mid-range too thanks to the Field Agent Grip: It stops foes from being able to duck and dive through your recoil. It’s got a high magazine capacity, you can run around pretty quickly with it. It just does its job very, very well.

C58 & Milano

C58

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5” Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd
  • Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap

Season 4 brought about not one, but two really strong weapons for mid-to-long-range engagements. Check out our comprehensive Warzone C58 loadout guide for more on how to run this weapon, but what you really need to know is it’s a versatile weapon that’ll serve you extremely well when you're in the flow of a game.

Milano 821

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 10.5” Ranger
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd Drum

The Milano was buffed for Season 4, and to celebrate, you should use it! It’s not going to beat out the big dogs with regards to time-to-kill, but it’s extremely easy to use with some fantastic mobility, and can actually win you gunfights now, unlike before.

CR-56 AMAX & Nail Gun

CR-56 AMAX

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

The king is not dead. Don’t let anyone tell you the AMAX is unviable now, it’s just been pegged back to let other weapons into the meta. You can still shred enemies at range with this gun, though, and if you’ve got used to it throughout the last meta, it’s going to help you out in Season 4 as well. You’ll need to get 3 gunbutt kills with an AR in 10 different matches to unlock it, but the grind is still worth it.

Nail Gun

The Nail Gun doesn’t come with any attachments, so there’s not a whole lot to mess around with here. What it does do is blow enemies to smithereens with one of the fastest time-to-kills in the game. It’s also hilariously satisfying to use. You’re shooting heavily-armoured soldiers with a nail gun. Come on.

CR-56 AMAX & MP5 (CW)

CR-56 AMAX

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

Unsurprisingly, the CR-56 AMAX is still worth using after the recent round of nerfs. If you prefer engaging in mid-ranged firefights, try this firearm in your next match. This AR is fully automatic and it manages to deal even more damage than the standard M4A1. You need to unlock it by getting 3 gunbutt kills while using an assault rifle in 10 different matches, but it's worth the grind.

MP5 (Cold War)

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 9.5" Task Force
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd Drum

The MP5 is often the go-to SMG, courtesy of its low recoil and impressive fire rate. It's managed to outlive the MAC-10 and AK-74u, and remains as a reliable constant in Warzone's meta.

AK-47 (CW) & Kar98k

AK-47 (Cold War)

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15.5” Ultralight
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Speedgrip
  • Ammunition: Bakelite 60 Rnd

The AK-47 is effective at most ranges, but you'd be surprised how well it performs from close up. With this loadout, the Cold War AK has a surprisingly fast strafe and movement speed thanks to the Ultralight barrel and KGB Skeletal Stock, so give it a go alongside a speedy sniper like the Kar98k and you’ll have a brilliant time.

Kar98k

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6"
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Stock: FTAC Sport Comb

The Kar98k is the best Warzone Marksman rifle, as it's very reliable when you need to pick off enemies in the distance. This particular setup increases your ADS speed, so if you spot an opponent, you can take them down instantly. It’s shockingly fast compared to other sniper rifles, but remember that you’ll need to account for bullet velocity much more than with heavier rifles like the HDR.

Krig 6 & Bullfrog

Krig 6

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 19.7" Ranger
  • Optic: SUSAT Multizoom
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd

If you're on the hunt for an AR with high accuracy and low recoil the Krig 6 won't let you down. It's worth calling in your personal loadout drop to benefit from the range buffs in this setup, especially the Ranger barrel and Field Agent Grip. But remember: This all comes at the cost of mobility, so be sure to find some cover before engaging with another squad.

Bullfrog

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 7.4" Task Force
  • Optic: Millstop Reflex
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Ammunition: 65 Rnd

The Bullfrog remains up there as a top SMG, and it pairs perfectly with the long-range Krig. With a big ol’ magazine capacity and great range for an SMG, this one is great to switch to while you run around indoors, or to follow up on shots if you run out of ammunition in your primary weapon at range.

RAM-7 & LC10

best smg warzone

RAM-7

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: FSS Ranger
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 50 Round Mags

The RAM-7 may be an assault rifle from Modern Warfare, but it has no trouble holding its own in Warzone Season 4. To this day it offers respectable range and accuracy compared to others in its class, making it the perfect companion for SMGs and other ARs.

MP5 (Cold War)

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Grip: Serpent Grip
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd Drum

The Cold War MP5 still packs a brutal punch indoors and at close ranges, with the likes of the Raider Stock, Serpent Grip, and Tiger Team Spotlight all doing wonders for the weapon’s mobility and your movement speed. Get it out when your RAM-7 feels that little bit too cumbersome close up.

M4A1 & FFAR 1

M4A1

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

The M4A1 was the best all-rounder when Warzone released, and it's still a competitive assault rifle when it's decked out with the best attachments. If stealth is your style, this build has excellent stability while remaining silent. There's room to customise it to support more aggressive builds, just take a look at our best M4A1 loadouts for more choices.

FFAR 1

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 19.5" Task Force
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Ammunition: Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag
  • Rear Grip: Speed Tape

The FFAR 1's quick fire rate and snappy reload speeds make it feel closer to an SMG than an assault rifle. This loadout supports the M4A1, while extending your magazine to ensure you have enough bullets to take down an enemy squad before you need to reload. It’s no longer the meta-ruining monster it once was, but the FFAR still feels good to wield as an SMG replacement. For a more detailed breakdown, check out our other best Warzone FFAR 1 loadouts.

Stoner 63 & PPSh-41

Stoner 63

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 21.8" Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: Fast Mag

Often slept on, and even more so now the MG 82 is in the meta, the Stoner 63 undoubtedly has what it takes to steal the show in Warzone Season 4. It can down an entire squad without the need to reload, and the damage combined with your excellent accuracy can completely dominate at long range.

PPSh-41

  • Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Ammunition: 55 Rnd Drum

The PSSh-41 can take out enemies quickly, especially when they're right on top of you. It's also very easy to control, and you won't need to restrict your movement to yield good results. For more ideas on how to round off your build, check out our best PPSh-41 Warzone loadouts.

ZRG 20mm & Sykov

ZRG 20mm

  • Muzzle: Sound Moderator
  • Barrel: 43.9" Combat Recon
  • Optic: Royal & Kross 4x
  • Ammunition: 5 Rnd
  • Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap

The HDR has been many Warzone players' favourite sniper rifle for a while now, but it's time to switch to the ZRG 20mm. It has the least bullet drop without having to compromise range, and last season’s buffs made it even better leading to an extremely speedy bullet velocity. If you need help choosing attachments for this gun, we have a page for the best ZRG 20mm Warzone loadouts.

Sykov (Single)

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Sorokin 140mm Auto
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Ammunition: 80 Round Drums
  • Rear Grip: VLK Prizrak

The Sykov pistol isn't quite as potent as it was when it was first released, but it's still worth saving a spot for it. Now that we're over dual-wielding it using the Akimbo perk, we can focus on its single build. It's an aggressive little firearm that deals impressive damage. You'll want to equip its whopping 80 Round Drums to take full advantage of its stellar fire rate. These are the best Sykov Warzone loadouts, if you want to explore alternative setups.

LW3 - Tundra & FARA 83

LW3 - Tundra

  • Muzzle: Wrapped Suppressor
  • Barrel: 29.1" Combat Recon
  • Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
  • Optic: Royal & Kross 4x
  • Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap

The LW3 - Tundra came into the meta shortly after it was discovered that its bullet velocity beat that of the HDR, a favourite from Modern Warfare. This Cold War sniper rifle offers one-shot headshots as well as a ridiculous range, making it a lot of people’s favourite long-range weapon.

FARA-83

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Ammunition: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock

Just like the FFAR 1, the FARA 83 works exceptionally well as a sniper support. It's best used to get up close and personal with enemy squads, but it can be customised for medium-long ranges, which I cover in more detail in our best FARA 83 Warzone loadouts guide. You'll really feel the benefit of having the Spetsnaz 60 Rnd extended magazine.

CARV. 2 & AMP 63

CARV.2

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 20.8" Strike Team
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd Speed Mag

The CARV.2 joined the Tactical Rifle category late in Season 3. It's fun to run alongside a capable rifle, and performs well at medium ranges. You'll have to unlock this weapon by scoring rapid kills, or you can get your hands on it straight away if you buy the blueprint in the store. Either way, once it's in your inventory, pop it into a loadout with your favourite assault rifle and try it out in Verdansk '84. For more builds, take a look at our best CARV.2 Warzone loadouts guide.

AMP 63

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 6.1” Reinforced Heavy
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Ammunition: STANAG 25 Rnd
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

Want a nice automatic pistol and not a fan of the Sykov? Cold War’s AMP63 is the one for you. All you need to know is that this thing can go toe-to-toe with SMGs close up and allow you to run Ghost or Restock. What a treat.

Perks

E.O.D
E.O.D reduces the damage you take from non-killstreak explosives and fire, making it a popular choice for most loadouts. There are other options, but for the most part you’ll have your life saved by this perk more often than not.

Overkill/Ghost
If you want to run two primary weapons in your loadout, you need the Overkill perk. Alternatively, if you're happy to head into Verdansk with a handgun or launcher, it's worth doing so for the Ghost perk. You'll find a Heartbeat Sensor in most players' Tactical slots, and this perk makes sure you're undetectable by Heartbeat Sensors, UAVs, and Radar Drones.

Amped
Amped is useful in almost every single class in Warzone. If you're not using a pistol, that fast weapon swap speed is extremely important and can absolutely change gunfights in your favour. Getting that extra few frames to start shooting your secondary is often a life-and-death situation, and Amped has saved the skin of many a player.

Lethal & Tactical

Lethal: Thermite/C4/Semtex
Thermite is currently the meta choice, and it's easy to understand why. It's perfect for finishing off injured opponents quickly. If you're not a fan, C4 is a good alternative. This explosive can also be tossed on roofs to take out multiple squad members at once. That said, I prefer using a Semtex as it's easier to throw it at moving targets.

Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
Verdansk is a large map, and even when you're skulking around indoors it can be very difficult to locate your enemies. Sniffing out the competition is much easier with the help of the Heartbeat Sensor, which also happens to be the best Tactical in Warzone. Just remember: Enemies with Ghost won’t show up, so keep an ear out for footsteps, too.
