Smash Bros. Ultimate's Next Tournament Celebrates 2021's Big Gaming Anniversaries

Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus and more.

Earlier this year, we realised that 2021 is one heck of a year for gaming anniversaries. It looks like the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team is aware of this too – if this new tournament's anything to go by, at least.

Starting this Friday, an in-game tournament will be celebrating all the included franchises that have had, or are having, their 35th anniversaries in 2021. That means Zelda, Metroid, and Kid Icarus are all included, as well as Dragon Quest and more:
