Century: Age of Ashes Features Multiplayer Dragon Battles
Century: Age of Ashes, a free-to-play multiplayer game featuring dragon-on-dragon battles, was revealed during The Game Awards Pre-Show. It will be released via Steam Early Access in February 2021. The reveal trailer showcased team-based gameplay reminiscent of another beloved, dragon-focused aerial combat game, Panzer Dragoon. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/12/11/century-age-of-ashes-announcement-trailer"] Century: Age of Ashes will feature three different classes, each with a unique ability and dragon, and three game modes: Carnage (Team Deathmatch), Survival (6v6v6 – Last Team Standing), and Raid (Capture the Flag). And yes — you'll be able to customize both your dragon and dragon rider, though all customization items will be "solely cosmetic," according to developer Playwing. A closed beta will be held in January ahead of its Steam Early Access release. Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store versions of Century: Age of Ashes will also be released at a later date.
